I had the pleasure to supervise Grégory during his postdoctoral studies at the Lady Davis Institute/McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Grégory is a highly motivated and hardworking researcher. One of Gregory’s most apparent characteristics is his independence, at the bench as well as at the desk. He learns quickly and he is able to adapt quickly to a new environment. Grégory's critical assessment of his own data and his knowledge of the current literature have been essential in advancing his research. During his stay in my laboratory Grégory was very productive and has published a series of articles in renowned journals. He has also prepared a series of abstracts for national and international meetings. Gregory’s enthusiasm towards his project was an important prerequisite to carry out the proposed project. He is also a highly organized person and his project management skills are excellent. Grégory is also a team player and he has effiectively mentored several students. Grégory’s enthusiasm and his ability to perform and supervise research were truly appreciated in my laboratory. Given his exceptional scientific and communcations skills, I enthusiastically recommend him. He is definitely an asset for any employer.

Grégory is an especially creative mind and has an excellent work ethic. During the time we worked together in the same lab he was constantly reading literature and generating new and interesting hypotheses. He is very well organized, intelligent and a pleasure to work with. He would be a valuable asset on any team due to his fantastic communication and interpersonal skills.

I have had the pleasure of working with Grégory for over 3 years during the launch of our Inherent Health® genetic tests for weight management in Canada. I am impressed with his knowledge of genetics, genetic testing and personalized health and he has been a strong partner in our efforts to introduce our testing products to the Canadian market. I had the privilege to work with Greg Chevillard for 5 years when he was a post-doc in our lab. Myself, a PhD student at the time, he was a young but perfect mentor. I was always amazed by his enthusiasm and motivation. Since the very first day in our lab, we observed a very organized scientist who will not give any suggestion without a deep knowledge. His achievements are merely consequences of his open mindedness. He was open to new approaches, to try more and to learn more. Helping him in some of the in vivo experiments, I realized how his experiments were carefully planned and precisely performed. I can definitively say that not only me but everybody in the lab enjoyed working with him. It was a great opportunity for me to know such an excellent scientist.

Grégory is a rare find. I have had the honor to know Grégory in many different contexts. Not only is Grégory a prolific contributor to the global scientific community, but he is also a great community leader. I first met Grégory when I joined the Ligue de SoCoeur Montréal, a very well organized, high-energy soccer league that Gregory founded. New to Montreal at the time, this soccer league was exactly what I had needed to help orient me in my new surroundings. Both of us being part of the Montreal scientific community, I would occasionally run into Grégory at different scientific events. Grégory is a very well respected scientific communicator and mentor. As an invited speaker, he had recently spoken to the BioTech Annecto community, a social networking community for those of us in or interested in careers in biotechnology and/or pharmaceuticals. Grégory is also very personable, I have always been able to ask him questions, advice or for assistance and he has always been extremely generous with his time and knowledge. Grégory is an asset to any team, company or community he is involved in.

I have know Gregory for several years, and during this time he has displayed integrity, compassion and above all sincerity. He is a hard worker and has passion in him work. Few people can combine the passion of football with the compassion of science. He has built an organization from the ground up to promote sport and charity and has instilled a sense of community in anyone who has participated in his sports league. Gregory is an inspiration and a leader to the people around him. I recommend Gregory whole heartily.

J'ai eu énormément de plaisir à travailler pour et avec Greg (que je me permets d'appeler par son prénom). Il s'est impliqué régulièrement dans les projets qu'il nous a soumis à la plate-forme. C'est véritablement un travail conjoint, basé sur une échange constant, que nous avons réalisé afin d'obtenir de meilleurs résultats. Dr Chevillard est non seulement un brillant scientifique mais un sportif impressionnant. Il a fondé la ligue de So-coeur de Montréal qui regroupe durant toute l'année des équipes autour d'un tournoi à la fois cordial et très compétitif.
